Why our pumps for dry installation are the best choice

drypit_jan You’ll enjoy higher reliability
Our pumps do their job without complaining, year in, year out. And with the highest efficiency possible. This is the result of a well-thought-through design – from the corrosion and impact-resistant outer casing to smart details such as the in-house designed impeller. And quality pays. Fewer pump stops mean better operational cost-effectiveness. You can count on high energy efficiency to influence your operational costs positively. And at the same time reduce environmental impact.

You’ll have a better working environment
Servicing pumps under water can often be a rather unpleasant experience. You’ll avoid this with our pumps for dry installation. And of course, maintenance work is both easier and quicker on dry land. The pump’s favourable design also means that pump station floor space can be utilized efficiently. Low noise level is another aspect that contributes to a pleasant working environment.

You’ll achieve a total solution
We have the most comprehensive range of products and services within fluid handling. You can combine several different pumps to achieve an integrated total solution. We also provide all types of important ancillary equipment, e.g. for monitoring and control, so you won’t have to waste time implementing products from different suppliers.

You’ll gain a stable business partner
We offer all the advantages of a global company: great geographical presence, the latest technology and development resources. In practical terms this means that you can always turn to one of our certified service workshops for fast service and guaranteed work. Do you appreciate long-term, assured cooperation? Then we are just the partner for you. On the right you can see examples of treatment plants who already benefit from us.

Case stories

case1
Rulers of the grit chamber
Something extra durable was required at the main treatment plant in a German city. Something that could transport an extremely abrasive mixture of sand and water. We offered just that: dry installed pumps in a special wear-resistant version. Up and running since 2004 they still show no signs of weakness. And by changing the V-belt pulleys the installation can always be adapted to new circumstances.

Test winners getting down to business
Another German treatment plant was facing the replacement of no less than 24 sludge return pumps. After an extensive test comparing products under demanding operating conditions, the outcome was evident: our pumps for dry installation were utterly convincing in all key categories: no stoppage and not a single sign of wear. Now the plant is enjoying trouble-free pumping with reliable and cost-effective performance.

Three decades can’t be wrong
With a capacity of 2 100 million gallons per day, this US wastewater treatment plant (one of the largest in the world) won´t take any chances. Over 30 years ago a decision was made to install pumps from the Flygt NS-series – and they are still running today. A great proof of how our pumps stand alone in the business of tough wastewater service.
