Modems
The modems used by ITT Flygt are characterized by a comprehensive view. Tele modems are robust and developed for industrial use. Some modems can be used as dialled up communication and others for dedicated lines. They can easily be adapted to different customer demands by help of AT commands or switches and to different protocols and signal requirements and also to unmanned stations.

Radios
The Elpro 405U radio modem module provides
wireless communication between central system and FMC units via RS232 connection. The 405U has been designed for easy usage and simple installation. It uses a low power UHF radio, which does not require a radio licence*. The module is fully integrated with radio, power supply, serial ports and microprocessor controller housed in an industrial aluminium case.

GPRS modem
In theory GPRS has the advantage of being connected almost like a fixed line. How this can be achieved differs from markets and different operators. An AquaView system can be setup to communicate with a number of Flygt RTU’s via GPRS. The system has to be tested locally to secure the functionality with the present GPRS service provider.
