Horizontal propeller pumps

The submersible horizontal propeller pump is designed for pumping large volumes at low head. A smaller pump is required to do the job of a larger conventional pump, (Construction and installation cost is required).

The pump is mounted in front of a hole in the retaining wall between two basins, or in front of a transport pipe. A non-return valve stops back flow during maintenance or pump stoppage.

Typical applications for horizontal propeller pumps are irrigation, water attractions and recirculation within treatment processes.

The horizontal propeller pumps have capacities of up 1700 litres per second.
